alive at least or last..?

flash back to june..
he was such skinny poor dog, can only c his most bones comin out sharply below his dirty furries. According to the owner, his condition was due to stress, been bully by tens of other bigger or smaller sizes of his, can fight for his food. his previous home was a place that occupies with at least around 50 dogs and cats. he barely can walk and hardly can stand on his legs

i took him to vetenary for treatment, to save his live which he might loose during that time. sadly the first vetenary was rejected him with the vonis of distemper. than we reached at sunter, drh.cucu n associate clinic. for 3 days he was stay in, when he started to eat by his own, than we took him out of the clinic. temporary he can stay with my good friend at grogol, with hope that any one would wanna adopt him. at grogol, my friend already had a puppy, name arok, thats y she cant adopt him. She take good care of him, and i only can came after office hour only, to help her to clean the house and feed him, with special cooked from my hubby, meat, chicken, carrot, vegie, margarine, and potato

Passes 1 week time, his condition was better and better every day, he started to move around the house and even started to play with the puppy, arok. Than when it was time to move him out of her house.. sad to know that no body want him, n i wont wanna him to get back to the place where we found him at first.

Well.. days had passed by.. my cousin was taken him in care, than now.. he is so bright, healthy, alive… again, after like 4 months in struggle

saved

last sunday, 27th august..
i managed to catch a 9th years stray dog which no body own and wanna.
a small community that inconvenience to have him around, people said that the dog ever bite one of the people there. so better if i take him away for good from that area urgently..!
after having long hard time to get him, i need to kneel down n crawled under the locked gate, also running chasing him here n there, finally i managed to had him in my arms, n calm him down.
we brought him to vet, n have him for neutered after 2 days in vet, since we need to have his condition back to stabile first before can do the neutered.
now, he is still awaiting for the greatest moment, when any one would ever wanna to take him home.
thought i think it wont b easy to get a new home for him, he has no good character, not friendly, perhaps its due to stress caused by human around him on previous. he is only like 6 kgs weight, which is too skinny for his size
hope also that bintaro clinic can still have him til than..

5 died

In one population, all must got it!
Its only depend to each immune, to prevent it n to fight it back, since there is no cure.
Veterinarians can only treat the symptoms palliatively {reference}, and try to keep the dog alive by preventing dehydration and loss of proteins. As there is no cure for any virus, treatment for parvo is mostly that of supporting the different systems in the body during the course of the disease.

Some already evacuated temporary to far places that might not suitable, but when there are no other choices, than what else can do? Except to accept the unsuitable choices..?

Some also treated in other vets, but still 1 puppy died.

Some still survive though recorded 4 adult died as well.

1 pretty pregnant female was taken out to others vets, along with one other female, which was not in a good condition, weak n dehydrate. Today latest info that this 2 are back in action, they both eating of their own, no more dehydrate also vomit.

Is it gone already, its disease..? since most dogs there now back to normal as active n eating of their own

p a r v o
Parvovirus is a viral disease of dogs. It affects more to puppies than to adult. The virus grows in rapidly dividing cells. The intestinal lining has the biggest concentration of rapidly dividing cells in a puppy's body. The virus attacks and kills these cells, causing diarrhea (often bloody), depression and suppression of white blood cells -- which come from another group of rapidly dividing cells. In very young puppies it can infect the heart muscle and lead to "sudden" death.

s y m p t o m s
Parvo" is a virus that attacks the lining of the digestive system, causes dogs to not be able to absorb nutrients or liquids. Puppies are especially prone to it because they have an immature immune system. When dogs and puppies contract parvo, they often have diarrhea, vomiting and lethargy. Usually they stop eating and develop a bloody, foul-smelling, liquid stool.
Symptoms usually begin with a high fever, lethargy, depression, and loss of appetite. Secondary symptoms appear as severe gastrointestinal distress, such as vomiting and bloody diarrhea. In many cases, dehydration, shock, and death follow.
Parvovirus is characterized by severe, bloody diarrhea and vomiting, high fever and lethargy. The diarrhea is particularly foul smelling and is sometimes yellow in color. Parvo can also attack a dog's heart causing congestive heart failure. This complication can occur months or years after an apparent recovery from the intestinal form of the disease. Puppies who survive parvo infection usually remain somewhat un-healthy and weak for life.

p r e v e n t
The surest way to avoid parvo infection in your dog is to adhere to the recommended vaccination schedule which begins when puppies are 6-8 weeks of age. Puppies should not be allowed to socialize with other dogs or frequent areas where other dogs have been until 2 weeks after they have had their last vaccination. Immunization for parvo is usually included in your dog's distemper vaccine. This shot gives protection against several potentially fatal canine diseases all at the same time.
If your pet becomes infected, please keep in mind that dogs with parvo shed the virus in their feces and are extremely contagious to other dogs. Follow these recommendations to help prevent the spread of this disease.
· Keep the infected dog isolated from all other dogs for at least one month after full recovery.
· Clean up all the dog's stools in your yard.
· Use a 1:30 ratio of chlorine bleach and water to clean food and water bowls (4 oz. in 1 gallon of water). Wash any bedding the dog has been in contact with in this same bleach solution and hot water. You should also try to disinfect any other areas that the dog has been, like linoleum, concrete kennels, crates, etc.
· If you have any other dogs that are two years old or younger, or who have never been vaccinated for parvo, please bring them in for a booster as soon as possible.
· Be sure to feed your dog a bland diet, such as Canine Prescription i/d, until he is fully recovered. When switching back to his normal diet, mix the regular food with the i/d for 2-3 days to help your pet gradually adjust to the change.

v a c c i n a t i o n

Parvovirus is probably the most common viral illness of dogs. It can be very hard to successfully vaccinate a puppy for this disease since the antibody protection the puppy acquires from its mother can interfere with vaccination. Vets recommend vaccinating puppies every 3 - 4 weeks for this virus starting at 6 weeks of age and continuing until they are at least 16 - 20 weeks of age. It is possible that this vaccine confers lifelong immunity once it does work but most veterinarians continue to recommend yearly vaccination for it. It seems prudent to at least get the vaccination at one year of age. Since it is combined with the other vaccines it is often easier just to give it yearly with them.

t r a n s m i t t e d
Canine parvovirus is carried by dogs. Adult dogs may be infected carriers without showing any clinical signs. Dogs with the typical diarrhea that parvovirus causes shed the virus as well. It can last a long time in the environment, perhaps as long as 9 months or longer.
Generally, it takes 7-10 days from the time of exposure for dogs and puppies to start showing symptoms and to test positive for parvo.
Parvo is highly contagious to unprotected dogs, and the virus can remain infectious in ground contaminated with fecal material for five months or more if conditions are favorable. Extremely hardy, most disinfectants cannot kill the virus, however chlorine bleach is the most effective and inexpensive agent that works, and is commonly used by veterinarians.
The ease with which infection with Parvo can occur in any unvaccinated dog must be stressed. The virus is extremely hardy in the environment. Withstanding wide temperature fluctuations and most cleaning agents. Parvo can be brought home to your dog on shoes, hands and even car tires. It can live for many months outside the animal. Any areas that are thought to be contaminated with parvo should be thoroughly washed with chlorine bleach diluted 1 ounce per quart of water.
Dogs and puppies can contract parvo even if they never leave their yards. Parvo virus, despite what you might hear, is NOT an airborne virus. It is excreted in the feces of infected dogs, and if someone -- human, dog, bird, etc. -- steps in (or otherwise comes in contact with) the excrement, the possibility for contamination is great. Some people speculate that birds invading a dog's food dish can deposit the parvovirus there. If you think you may have come in contact with parvovirus, a strong solution of bleach and water does kill the virus, so you can wash your shoes and clothes, even your hands with it, to reduce the risk of infecting your dog.
Rest assured that parvovirus is specific to dogs alone and cannot be transmitted to humans or other pets of a different species, such as cats.

t r e a t e d
Without intense treatment, the victims of parvo die of dehydration. Treatment generally consists of IV or sub-cutaneous fluids and antibiotics. There is no cure. Veterinarians can only treat the symptoms palliatively, and try to keep the dog alive by preventing dehydration and loss of proteins. As there is no cure for any virus, treatment for parvo is mostly that of supporting the different systems in the body during the course of the disease. This includes giving fluids, regulating electrolyte levels, controlling body temperature and giving blood transfusions when necessary.
Dogs who have survived parvo can get it again.

p a r v o i n h o m e ?

If you have had parvo in your home, use a strong bleach/water solution to kill it. Soak the yard with it -- better to kill the grass than your next dog! Be careful using it on carpets and fabrics, though. Parvo can live up to 6 months or so in your home or yard. Before you bring home another dog, be sure it has a strong immunity to parvo. You can have a veterinarian draw blood and run a titre to find out how well your prospective dog will fare in a parvo-infected environment. Adult dogs generally have a higher resistance than puppies do, but they need to be kept current on their vaccines. If in doubt, have your vet do the titre.

D i e..?
If your dog becomes infected with parvovirus, he has about a 50-50 chance of survival. If he makes it through the first three to four days, he will usually make a rapid recovery, and be back on his feet within a week. It is vital, however, that he receives supportive therapy immediately. It must be stressed that this is not a bad case of doggy flu; without medical treatment, most puppies die.

24 cuties!

cared by no one, struggle by 'em self, a place that they know as home is just a corner of security booth. through the days with joy that they can only share with siblings, mommy, n daddy n some securities that being so kind to have compassion for these 24 cuties puppies, so innocent. they just play n play aint know what happened. their daily food covered from a food stall near by, saving some waste food for 'em. so far the management of this elite resident aint yet thrown an negative issues about their being present there at the front gate.

we arranged some meeting with people that care enough. to get each of 'em a place for 'em to call as home, a truly home as the last destination of 'em.

1 taken by ragunan shelter, 1 more taken by a coucasion, it’s a hard choice when some strange people with weird behavior declare wish to adopt 'em. so far we cant just allow funny people to grab 'em. we wish only the better for 'em. nothing much i have done for 'em, providing dog food, make friend with those securities with bunch of tips to ensure them to keep prevent these dogs live til they found by the new good owner

N . A . T . O

nothing came up but big bully..!

pity for people who talk talk talk only, but no action ever happen in time. sadly, when others act better and faster, certainly made 'em pissed, so pissed. how human ego can turn a logical sense into a rubbish

more they mad and pissed, more clear it shown of how shallow they are in terms of thinking. those who cant think critical n cant represent a case smoothly, without experiences and without appropriate strategy. Bluffed around of how great they would b with only base on basic assumptions.

happy to know that my moves can really inspired 'em to learn deeper lessons about how important to act fast n well coordinate to created an absolute changes

proudly to rest my case again..

disguise people than lead then to do exactly as my command

Stray in H O M E

they call as 'home sweet home' but there are none of any sweet ever u can feel.
so called only for roof over their head, no food, no water, no compassion, no sense!
these 7 poor dogs are trapped on 2nd balcony with only water available, its place is so dirty, no logical sense can explain why would any owner can possible do such slow abused like that. leaving out them up there with nothing... slowly but sure, they ll died, adult might survive longer, but there 4 puppies certainly wont!

i was there, feeding them as possible as i could.. others team was telling that they ll evacuate by Sunday to Meruya, than after few days, aint decide what ll happen next

pity these team only confront of human ego, aint wanna listen for the best interest of these dogs concern, though i already offered place for them to stay in Gandul shelter, but no news til now. They insist to drop at that temporary place, though after few days, again ll come the questions of, where else to take them in…

H O P E L E S S

No time to post, i was out the whole day long for these 2 days.

A friend called up, telling me about the latest update regarding7 dogs left abounded in an empty house.

5 of them are too skinny and their conditions aint good at all!
No water no food for days!
They were kept on the 2nd floor where its should be tremendously hot during the sunny days like now.
Most sadly when the pictures on the forum shown their pictures, sad looking picture!
Some how the owner can b reached n confirmed that no one can take the dogs unless on Sunday.

Would they make it til Sunday?

Would they ever b saved?
