Stray in H O M E

they call as 'home sweet home' but there are none of any sweet ever u can feel.
so called only for roof over their head, no food, no water, no compassion, no sense!
these 7 poor dogs are trapped on 2nd balcony with only water available, its place is so dirty, no logical sense can explain why would any owner can possible do such slow abused like that. leaving out them up there with nothing... slowly but sure, they ll died, adult might survive longer, but there 4 puppies certainly wont!

i was there, feeding them as possible as i could.. others team was telling that they ll evacuate by Sunday to Meruya, than after few days, aint decide what ll happen next

pity these team only confront of human ego, aint wanna listen for the best interest of these dogs concern, though i already offered place for them to stay in Gandul shelter, but no news til now. They insist to drop at that temporary place, though after few days, again ll come the questions of, where else to take them in…

After you take them to shelter, what's next ?

This is a shelter that managed by a non-irresponsible people in proper way and organized, so it ll take a very minimum worries that these dogs ll end up in another sad stories. Shelter would ready to get the responsible to taking then in care til any good fellow can adopt them. At least no more uncertain place that they again need to move around since that Meruya is only temporary

do you think that the only solution for these dogs is to be in a shelter ?
Wouldn't be better for them to have a home ?

C H A R M Y said...

h o m e at least is the ultimate main concern, please again read my previous comment c a r e f u l l y mentioning about adoption, the last 2 sentences

So, the main idea is to get those dogs a home , a shelter is just another temporary place like the one in meruya, right ?
Have you ever been to that shelter in gandul ? In my experience, a shelter usualy has already been fully occupied by so many dogs. Can this shelter take care of these dogs that need extra attention ?
Why do you against the temporary place in meruya ?

C H A R M Y said...

lets not b prejudice here, eh..

again shall we all read back trough all as written, none of that wording shown any literally lead to against that Meruya idea.

facts shown that the meaning of temporary in both Meruya and Gandul are having big differences, at least that accordingly to what’s have been informed.

G a n d u l lead to a new home it self for these dogs, when worst situation that no one would ever can take them, meaning there are no limit for them to stay in.

than check this M e r u y a case, til when would they can stay in? the answer that only dear lord can tell.

Never been there anyone? shall get down on action by do survey to check around than..!

Btw...is Maruya a shelter? If it's a proper shelter, i would think the shelter will be able to hold them long....(hope I'm right!).

Anyway..for the sake of the doggies welfare, either place would be good as long as they can provide shelter, food and care. BUT there is one thing that I would like to point out. If by temporary means a couple of days/weeks...my suggestions is to go with a place that can provide them more stable enviroment or at least a longer period of time to stay, instead of having to re-home them twice.

We have to be realize also that it's not easy to find a home for these doggies...find a more permanent place for them rather then moving them a few times. Each time we move them, they would be under some stress..

In anycase, we all want what is best for the doggies...

hmm...
if meruya buys those team some times to find parents for these dogs, wouldn't it be nice ?
I think those members are trying their best to find homes, since they know that they only have a little time.
Do you think so ?

Anonymous said...

Well...buying time to find a place for those dogs is good, provided that the team manage to find them "parents" before time runs out...(btw u guys have a team? that is good to hear! Hope they are a dog rescue team!)

I'm a little confused as well. If the team can find parents for the 7 doggies, why not bring more people to the shelter to adopt those there as well?

It did be a great idea to put the 7 doggies in the shelter, bring the potential parents to the shelter and let the potential "parents" there and they can find a doggie among so many of them! Give other doggies a chance as well! I'm sure they deserve the same treatment by your team ;-)

I did be worried if the team just bring the doggies to some "parents" and later the "parents" find that the doggies is not suitable for the household and in the end, have to "return" the doggie.

We have relealize that having a pet is not like going to Toys'r Us to buy a doll.

The potential pet owner must be able to know the temprement, the characteristic of the dog before committing it to the family. It's a big responsibility. We do not want to place a dog in a home that might not be suitable for the family as well. It will be detrimental to both party.

Alot of dog abuse cases is due to the fact that the owner is not able to handle the pet and have to resort to some sort of corporal punishment, which easily leads to the abuse of the animals.

Just my 2 cents

I agree with concerned about moving these dogs from one place to another would cause them stress.
But let's take a look this way:
These dogs were abandoned in a house, you can see that they are so skinny. If they weren't brought to a place that can take care of them, they would suffer even more. So maybe the best solution is to get them out of there. Where ?
Again, a place that can take good care of them. Their new homes ? No. Why not ? Because the team is looking for their parents. How long ? As soon as possible.
So instead of arguing, it's better for all of you who concern about this to start spreading the news and find the best parents, parents like concerned said.

Shall be remind back to the first place? of who started to argue, to question & to defend? … n now who also the one who request not to argues..?
since anonymous can b anyone

additional common sense for ur meaningless word of as soon as possible, same meaning as no urgency, since there is no set up final deadline

Anonymous said...

Yes. Move them out ASAP. Have they been moved? From what I read, it seems like they are still there?

To be frank, I do not know Meruya nor the Gandul...so far. From what I understand throughout the conversation, Gandul is a Animal shelter, if not a dog shelter.

A shelter would be a place that can provide necessary care/meidical care and attention to these animals.

Maybe you can tell us what is Meruya?

I'm not arguing with you on anything. I'm just pointing out some facts for you to consider when selecting the best course of action to take, wheather to take them to Meruya, or to the shelter, or to find proper parents for these doggies.

My point here is to urge you or your team to think twice and think carefully before making the decision.

From what you wrote, I am inclided to think that you are in doubt that the shelter can provide propoer care or maybe, you simply do not like the idea of putting the doggies in Gandul. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Maybe you can share with us why not Gandul.

Also, I have no idea till now what is Meruya and what kind of care and facilities that it is able to provide.

Maybe someone can tell me more about each place?

And one more point...you do not seems to have any urgency for the rest of the dogs that are in the shelter...you have only mentioned over and over again that those 7 doggies need parents...Why?

So only commets that you like will be published. Pity..

Gandul is not a shelter. It has already too many dogs and the community doesn't support that shelter. This shelter has some problems.

Would you put another dogs there ?

This is the end of my comments here. There's no need to talk with people that has no mind, that thinks herself as a better person from others to save the dogs, but end up in hurting those dogs.
But actually, she doesn't have enough guts to face people, just hiding behind this blog.

Adios

publish this comment or not, I really don't care.

As I said before, you're just coward!!!

Wow...

I never thought that this would turn out this way. If there is anything that I've said that offended you, my appologies.

Anyway, there is no need to start calling names here in here.

I'm going to defend the blogger here a bit...If the blogger is a coward, I really cannot help to think that you are one too...

I've been asking about Meruya what is it about, if the doggies have been rescused, what are the plans and such...but yet, there is still no reply from you. It tends to lead me to think of the following :-

1. Meruya is not a proper place to house the doggies.

2. The doggies are not rescused yet by your team.

3. There is no one looking for or succeed in looking for "parents".

4. Gandul is not a shelter, but a place that there is a lot of doggies?

5. The community(What community are we talking about? The neighbourhood? Your rescuse team?) does not support the Gandul shelter.

6. Gandul have a lot of doggies.

7. It is not the concern of your rescue team to look for parents in Gandul.

8. The "rescue team" is not functioning?

I really do hope that the blogger and anonymous would be able to clarify what Gandul and Meruya is since it's not a shelter. We should do something about those dogs and the shelter, don't you guys think so?

With that said, I really do hope that there are people who can really go rescue those doggies... Is there any other shelter that can help? Is there a RSPCA there?

I've been going round and round asking for answer and it seems like I'm getting more questions instead of answers....

...oh dear...now I'm really concerned.....

I think it's better for you to start save the animals like you always say, than argueing in a blog like this.

Better for you all to get united and save dogs. Don't you feel that your the one who has problems with human ego?

If you think that you can work better than the team, why not teach them how to do it properly?

No meant to harm, I just want the best for the dogs. There are only few people who concern with dogs in this country. It's so sad that you guys keep argueing.

C H A R M Y said...

when its open discussion to lead to the new whole changes for the ultimate welfare, aint shall no one have issues about it.

human ego or not for those people, wont bring different of my side, since normally I alone managed to made differences by supported from others who aint talk much only n do most unseen. teach them wont b hard n difficult only for those to can have open mind to accept n to learn. save no worries, my dear.. once the registered foundation settle, we do as we can in actual a c t i o n.
